— It all happened about a year and a half before my contract with "Dnipro-1" ended. At that time I wasn’t playing, but I wanted to stay at "Dnipro-1", I wanted to extend my contract. They told me: "We will extend your contract, everything will be OK".

Six months pass — no one says anything to me. "We don’t want to extend your contract for now, we are waiting." Another 2-3 months go by, I have 8 or 9 months left until my contract ends, and then "Polissya" reached out to me.

During this time, while "Dnipro-1" couldn’t offer me anything, I changed my mind and didn’t want to stay at "Dnipro-1". I wanted to change something, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone, because I had given all my life to "Dnipro-1", and I wanted to go somewhere, to move on.

And then it happened that we went to Euro-2023 with the youth national team, the president called me and said: "We want you, I want you. You have a contract, I understand everything, but..." I didn’t think long, the next day I said that I agreed, understanding that there would be ups and downs with "Dnipro-1".

I am very grateful to Gennady Vladislavovich Butkevich for doing everything as he told me. He kept his word, and already after 3 weeks I went to "Polissya", — Nazarenko said on the program "Trendeц".
