The current contract of the Spaniard expires in June, and there are no clear signs that he will extend it. The 53-year-old coach has led City to six victories in the English Premier League, one in the Champions League, two in the FA Cup, and four in the Carabao Cup.

The Catalan has already led the 'Sky Blues' for nine seasons, making it the club he has managed the longest. Pep spent only three years at Bayern Munich and four at Barcelona. After his long-time rival Jurgen Klopp left Liverpool in the summer, Guardiola's moment could come exactly one year later, the source writes.
