Polish insider Kuba Maewski, in a piece dedicated to Ukrainian striker Nazarii Rusin of English club Sunderland, explained why this footballer couldn’t make it at Warsaw’s Legia, which he joined on loan from Kyiv’s Dynamo at the beginning of 2021.
We recall that almost immediately after arriving at Legia, Rusin was transferred to the club’s reserve team, and his loan period was shortened.
“Even after the first trainings, it was clear that Rusin was mainly concerned with showing off — he played very selfishly, taking shots from unprepared positions and rarely passing to his teammates. And he, to put it mildly, did not impress them right away with his attitude,” Maewski’s words are quoted by Meczyki.
