— An interesting match, a true cup game. In the league, it would probably have been a different match. “Vorskla” played well. We met recently in Kyiv, and now the team has become more interesting; they created a lot of problems for us today. We played without a midfield, an attack on an attack; I think the fans enjoyed it. A wonderful atmosphere at the stadium. I am glad that we moved on. We have tasks ahead of us, and we are completing them step by step.
— Today there was again a rotation of the lineup from Oleksandr Shovkovskyi, but Dyachuk came out in the center of defense, who has recovered from injury.
— We were really looking forward to Dyachuk’s return after his injury; I want to congratulate him. He played well. Malys has been working with us for a year and a half; he waited for his chance and took advantage of it. But we all have room to progress.
— Today, Guerrero finally managed to score his debut goal for “Dynamo.” How did you congratulate him?
— He always steps onto the field with a positive attitude; he doesn’t close himself off. The same goes for training. Guerrero was really waiting for this first goal because it’s like a breath of fresh air; I know this from experience. I think this will give him inspiration for further progress. We are only pleased that Guerrero and Vanat are scoring and helping the team.
