Media Expectations that Ukrainian midfielder of the Spanish Girona, Viktor Tsygankov, who has been recovering from a muscle injury since the beginning of October, could return to the field in tomorrow's Champions League group stage match against the Dutch PSV, were not met.

Today, Girona announced its squad for this match, and the name of the 26-year-old Ukrainian was not on that list.

We remind you that last week Tsygankov returned to training with the main group of Girona, but then missed one of his team's sessions.

The last time the midfielder appeared on the field was October 1 — in a Champions League match against the Dutch Feyenoord.
