The head coach of the Spanish club Girona, Michel, explained why Ukrainian midfielder Viktor Tsygankov, who has already started training with the main group after his injury, did not make the squad for today’s match against the Dutch PSV in the Champions League, as the media had expected.
Michel“Tsygankov could have been with us for the match against PSV or, at least, had that opportunity, but I consider it careless to force the situation in this case. I hope Viktor will be ready by Sunday,” Sport45 quoted Michel as saying.
Moreover, Girona is set to face Getafe in a La Liga match this coming Sunday, November 10.
