President of Inhulets Oleksandr Povorozniuk commented on the decision to transfer five players from the first team to U-19.
— Oleksandr Hryhorovych, according to our information, immediately five players of Inhulets after the match against Dynamo (2:5) were transferred to U-19. Is that so?
— Yes.
— These are Artem Sitalo, Oleksandr Kozak, Serhiy Petko, Yuriy Kzyrenko, and Maksym Melnychuk?
— Yes.
— Whose decision was it?
— It is the coach's decision. I don't get involved in these processes.
— And what is the reason for such a decision?
— How am I to know? Well, there is no result. Salaries and bonuses are paid on time, but there are no results. Perhaps in this way, the coach “educates” the players. I repeat, I have never interfered in these processes. I am an investor of the football club. I will never say who should be put in, and who shouldn't, how to play, and so on. Why then do I need a coach? It is his decision. He told me, and I supported it.
— And what is the plan for Inhulets to play? Will there be enough players?
— There will be enough. I would prefer to take youth from U-19. I want the guys who have fire in their eyes to play, not those who are watching to see how much they receive. I have always done everything in my life sincerely and earned money, not received it. These are different things. Right now, they are receiving money, but not earning it.
— The last question — is this a temporary exile of the players?
— I asked the same question to the coach, and we both came to the conclusion that everything only depends on them. They will be given the opportunity to show themselves in the training process, and everything will be clear immediately. The way they are approaching work right now… I supported the coach.
