Former player of the national team of Ukraine and "Shakhtar" Vladimir Mikitin assessed the chances of the "miners" for victory in the next match of the group stage of the Champions League — against Swiss "Young Boys":
"While in the first three rounds most experts favored the opponents of 'Shakhtar', today the Ukrainian club needs to earn its points. After all, 'Young Boys' is inferior in class.
Since both teams are not impressing in the most prestigious continental tournament so far, they will focus on finding the shortest paths to the goal to secure such valuable points. I think that in a striking exchange the "miners" will be more accurate, although 'Young Boys' is one of those teams that attack a lot but score little, and I wouldn’t want the guests to fix their aim today.
I'm sure that the fans in Gelsenkirchen won't get bored. At the moment, in European cup battles, 'Shakhtar' has a noticeable advantage over the clubs from Switzerland," Mikitin said.
