President of the UAF Andriy Shevchenko, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame of Italian football, answered the question of whether he could ever imagine becoming a symbol of Ukraine.
“I am a Ukrainian, and I defend my country and its values. I know what life is like during wartime, and I know how hard it is for people. I am here for them. I support my people, those who have suffered immense pain. This is my duty,” Shevchenko said in an interview with TUTTOmercatoWEB.com.
