Vladimir Brzhko: "When my son asks me what I did in my youth, I will say that I traveled through countries like a truck driver"

Midfielder of Kyiv “Dynamo” and the national team of Ukraine Vladimir Brzhko in an interview with the YouTube channel UAF spoke about the start of preparations for the Nations League matches against Georgia (November 16) and Albania (November 19).

Vladimir Brzhko

— How’s the road? Have you developed an immunity to such travels yet?

— Probably, yes. From train to train, game, travel, and back on the road. It’s not easy.

— Have you looked at what distance you will have to cover to reach your final destination?

— I don’t care anymore. I have already gotten used to it. With “Dynamo” we are also traveling a lot now. When my son asks me in 15 years what I did in my youth, I will say that I traveled through different cities and countries like a truck driver.

— How many times have you been on the train in the last month?

— Four.

— How do you assess the upcoming Nations League matches against Georgia and Albania?

— Very responsible matches. We need two wins to secure at least second place. And our goal is to win the group. We will try to do everything for that.

Everyone saw how difficult the matches against Georgia and Albania were for us. First, we play against the Georgians. We will prepare for a tough game, where there will be a lot of fighting.

— How are your emotions after the match with “Polesie”?

— It’s okay. We’ve already forgotten about it, switched to the national team.

Які ж вони нещасні, так багато їздять різними містами, країнами, заробляють грошики, поки в Україні йде війна, гинуть люди, зникають міста. Неодмінно саме про свої подорожі й треба розказати сину.
