Yevhen Konoplyanka: "How do I see myself in 5 years? The most important thing is to be without a belly at least"

The former winger of the Ukraine national team Yevhen Konoplyanka shared how he sees himself in the future.

"The most important thing is to be without a belly at least. I would like to watch football and enjoy what I see. Let's imagine that I am Zinchenko’s agent. I come to the stadium, worry about him, and enjoy the fact that we’ve come from youth years all the way to London together.

I want to do it so that we take some boy, and we already have enough of them, and from 14–15 years we bring him to 'Real', for example. So that there are many such boys. I want the players to be happy to see me. I want to travel the world, feel good and cheer for my footballers who have achieved success.

Of course, I want my son to be in a good team. We are working with him at home. The goalposts are right in the apartment, and he breaks all the windows here. This is roughly how I see myself in 5 years.

But life is such that I might be a coach. For now, we will move in this direction, gaining pleasure from it. And this is only the beginning. If it turns out soon that some of our guys end up in 'Real', I will say 'Finita'. This will mean that I have chosen the right path,” said Konoplyanka.
