On that day, David Coote was serving as the fourth official in the League Cup match between Manchester City and Tottenham. Just 11 minutes before the kick-off, Coote sent a reminder about the reservation to a friend and wrote to another friend during the break. However, the party did not happen because David’s friends could not find the time for it.
