— What needs to change in our team compared to the previous match against the Georgians?
— I believe these are different games. We prepare for each match just like the Georgian team does. Right now we are playing away, and the Georgians will have strong support. I am sure they will be more aggressive. But we have our game plan, and we must implement it.
— What is the personnel situation in the team? Is Artem Dovbik ready to play?
— Yesterday, Artem held his first training session. We will see if he can play. Unfortunately, there are many players with minor injuries. After traveling, players from the same «Dynamo» and «Shakhtar» are quite tired. Unfortunately, Vladyslav Vanat will not play tomorrow, he is still recovering. I hope he will return by the next match. The players who will take the field tomorrow understand the responsibility of this match. I am confident that all of them will go out and compete for Ukraine.
— What are the strengths and weaknesses of the Georgian national team? What is their condition?
— I do not know the current state of the Georgian national team, but we played against them a month ago. There is information from another match where the Georgians changed their tactical scheme. But we must be prepared for any scheme and face such a team.
— Do you pay attention to the situation in the group before the last two matches?
— We were told about this when we played against Slovakia at Euro-2024. But I believe that at the level of national teams, there are very high-class players gathered, and everyone goes out to win. Tomorrow we will be focused on victory because this game is very important. I am sure it will be an interesting match.
— How do you plan to stop Khvicha Kvaratskhelia?
— Just like we tried to stop him in the first match. I do not know what position he will play. I have great respect for this player. I believe that the Georgians have very high-level attacking players, it is very interesting to play against them. But we have our game plan.
