The "blue-yellow" team arrived in the Netherlands to participate in the matches of group 1 of the qualifying round. The charges of Dmytro Mykhailenko started with a defeat against their peers from Kazakhstan (1:2). Today, our team faced Slovenia in the city of Vendam.

The first half went without goals. The teams regularly shot at the goal, but the players lacked accuracy.

At the start of the second half, Peičich headed Slovenia ahead while falling. The Ukrainians responded with several attempts, but without posing any particular threat to the opponents. Despite all efforts, our boys failed to equalize the score—0:1.
