Ukrainian national team midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk commented on the result of the Nations League match against Georgia, recalling the moment with the own goal by defender Solomon Kverkvelia.
“After the dribble, I looked up — and saw [Dovbyk]. If the defender hadn’t played, he would have scored there. We knew in advance that it would be a tough game. The weather conditions were difficult, we were preparing mentally for this. I needed a little time to get used to the pitch — and then it was fine,” Mudryk said in a comment to “Suspilne Sport”.
