Fans of Zhytomyr’s "Polissya", who are defending Ukraine from the onslaught of Russian occupiers, were outraged by Viktor Vatsko’s jokes. The "wolves" fans invited the well-known commentator to Donbas.
The journalist ironically commented on the match between "Dynamo" and "Polissya" on his YouTube channel. The blogger called the game between the "white-blues" and Zhytomyrians a hunt for a pack of wolves. Vatsko humorously stated that the Ukrainian Society of Hunters and Fishermen should impose a fine on "Dynamo". The reason for this is hunting out of season, and secondly, that it is prohibited to do so in the city center.
Fans of "Polissya", who are defending Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces, did not appreciate the commentator’s joke. The military recorded an appeal, where they suggested the journalist visit Donbas.
“We send fiery greetings to Mr. Vatsko. Our pack is large and it is everywhere. Your clumsy anecdotes, metaphors, and tautologies cross the line regarding the honor and dignity of our team. Do you want to join the pack for a hunt? Well, come to Donetsk and we will see who is the wolf and who is the sheep,” the appeal stated.
It should be noted that the slogan of Polissya is “Strength in the pack.” The military emphasized that they are ready to defend the honor and dignity of their favorite team to the end, regardless of the circumstances.
