Former forward of Kyiv "Dynamo" and the Ukrainian national team Artem Milevsky shared his impressions of yesterday’s match of the final, 6th round of the group stage of the Nations League Albania - Ukraine (1:2).
— Artem, where did you watch the match of the Ukrainian national team against Albania?
— Aliyev and I watched the game together, we did a joint stream. We laughed so much that it felt like we were back in the "zeros". I ordered sushi, organized the studio. Thanks to my team for their help. It was cool!
We watched the football, made bets. Aliyev guessed everything! He placed a bet on over 2.5 goals in the match between Ukraine and Albania. He also got the draw between Germany and Hungary (1:1) and Montenegro's victory over Turkey (3:1) right. In total, he guessed four outcomes! Probably, we will withdraw our winnings. (Laughs).
I also want to remind you that today marks 1000 days of Ukraine's war against the Russian aggressor. Thanks to the guys on the front lines who heroically fight against the invaders. They are real heroes. Glory to Ukraine! And thank you to our national team for the joy of this result. The boys did not let us down.
— What did you think of the game itself, did you like how Ukraine looked?
— Well... In such games, the main thing is the result. We achieved it. What questions can there be? The game itself reminded me of a vinaigrette - everything mixed, a lot of confusion. Maybe I don’t like a lot of things, but as a simple fan, in such a difficult time for our country, I am waiting for the result, and it is, thank God.
— Fans recognized Zinchenko as the "Lion of the match", but Aliyev criticized him during your stream and said he "doesn’t understand this player". What is your opinion on him?
— (Laughs) Personally, I have a good attitude towards Sanya [Zinchenko]. We had streams together during COVID, it was cool. I also have a good relationship with Vlad. I’m not used to discussing someone; it’s mostly me who’s discussed.
I can say that Sanya is great! He came out today and scored. No questions about him. Taking this opportunity, I send greetings to him and Vlad. I will soon go to their restaurant in Kyiv. Congratulations on the victory! Well done!
— Good, but whom would you give the "Lion of the match" to?
— I will name two players. The first is Zhora Sudakov. He played well in the second half, had chances, created chances. I will also praise Roma Yaremchuk. He is my favorite striker in the national team after me. He confirmed this today and scored again. Many were writing why Yaremchuk was called up to the national team? I think he fully answered this question.
— What do you think about Dovbyk? Why does he play so blandly in the national team?
— Tymur Dovbyk does not appeal to me at all right now. It’s obvious that he has some problems. Maybe he has his own story with "Roma" or something else. I mean the Roman team, not Roma Yaremchuk.
— In the playoffs for the right to qualify for the elite division, Ukraine may face Belgium, Serbia, Hungary, or Scotland. Who would you like as opponents for our team?
— I want us to face the Hungarians. It's time to punish the Magyars. (Laughs).
