Officially. UEFA has awarded the Kosovo national team a technical defeat in the match against Romania

UEFA’s press service informs that the Kosovo national team has been awarded a technical defeat following the results of the Nations League match against the Romanian national team.

We remind you that the Kosovo team decided to leave the field in the last minutes of the match with a score of 0:0 due to pro-Serbian chanting from the stands. Additionally, Romanian fans threw foreign objects at the visiting goalkeeper, Ariana Muric.

It is also known that the Romanian Football Federation will be punished, having to pay a fine of 128,000 euros due to the behavior of its fans.

As a result, the Romanian national team became the champion of its group, earning the maximum points - 18. Mircea Lucescu's team qualified from the first place in Division B.
