Spanish midfielder of Australian "Western Sydney Wanderers" Juan Mata has joined the ranks of co-owners of American "San Diego", the club’s official website reported.
“The football club ‘San Diego’ announces a significant addition to the group of club owners: the legend of Spanish football and world champion Juan Mata has joined as a partner. Mata is the first active international footballer to own a stake in Major League Soccer (MLS), joining David Beckham and becoming only the second international player to become an owner in an MLS club,” said the statement from ‘San Diego’.
