Yevhen Selezniov: "I never thought about becoming a commentator or an expert"

Former Ukraine national team forward Yevhen Selezniov stated that he never wanted to be a football commentator or an expert.

"I never thought about becoming a commentator or an expert. I don’t believe I can advise anyone on anything. Moreover, I have my own slang, my own language. I don’t think fans would be interested in listening to me. But I can't imagine myself outside of football.

My goal and dream is to enjoy what I can do. I hardly see myself as a coach. The experience I gained at 'Dnipro-1' was very useful. Earlier, I viewed football through the eyes of a player. For example, I only saw that Rotan should make the pass and Selezniov should score. Now I understand: for Rotan to make the pass, a lot of other things also need to happen," Selezniov said on the Youtube channel Sport media club Dnipro.
