Today the world was gifted with several famous people who closely connected their lives with football:
Igor Surkis (1958) — Ukrainian businessman and public figure. Since 2002, he has been the president of the football club "Dynamo" (Kyiv). Full cavalier of the Order of "For Merits" (1st class (2006), 2nd class (2004), 3rd class (2003)). Laureate of the State Prize of Ukraine in the field of architecture (2002) (for the architectural plan of the Dynamo training base complex on Stolichnoye Highway, 45 in Kyiv).
Diemerci Mbokani (1985) — former forward of Kyiv's "Dynamo". Before joining the Kyiv team, he played for "Anderlecht". He was recognized as the best footballer of the Belgian championship for the 2012/13 season. He played 37 matches for his national team, scoring 20 goals.
Radomir Antic (1948-2020) — famous Serbian footballer and coach. It is worth noting that Antic is the only coach in history who has managed Madrid's "Real", "Atletico", and "Barcelona" at different times.
Nevio Scala (1947) — famous Italian footballer and coach. He coached clubs such as "Borussia" (Dortmund), Donetsk's "Shakhtar", Moscow's "Spartak", as well as Istanbul's "Besiktas". In 2015, he became president of the football club "Parma," which went bankrupt and was forced to start its journey from the amateur league Serie D.
Torsten Frings (1976) — former German footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He played for many German clubs. Frings' last club was "Toronto" from MLS. He was a silver medalist with the German national team at the World and European Championships in 2002 and 2008, respectively.
