Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Vitaliy Buyalskyi commented on his team’s victory over Odesa’s Chornomorets (3:1) in yesterday’s match of the 14th round of the Ukrainian Championship on the YouTube channel “UPL-TV”.
— The break during the national team matches benefited you: you recovered from your injury and today you were one of the best players on the field for Dynamo.
— Yes, I missed about seven days, and then I started training with an individual program. As we got closer to the return of our national team players, I began to work with the general group.
— Today Dynamo changed tactics. How did you perceive it?
— If we won, it means the tactic was correct. But I think we are still not completely used to it, because in such a short period of time it's hard to practice a new tactic to the point of automatism.
— Is this tactic aimed at the upcoming Europa League match against “Victoria”?
— No, we weren’t thinking about the next match: we were preparing for the game against Chornomorets. Tomorrow or on Monday we will start preparing for the next match.
— Did Chornomorets surprise you in any way?
— I wouldn’t say they surprised us. We watched videos on how they defend, how they attack, and we were ready for all of this. So they didn’t really create any surprises for us.
— Today you scored a goal and made two assists. How do you comment on this result?
— When one of our players is in a better position, we need to pass the ball to him. Regarding my goal, it was probably right that I received the pass when I scored. But if I hadn’t scored, I would have said it was the wrong decision since another player was in a better position than I was.
— A goal conceded in the last minutes of the match — is it a big disappointment for you?
— Yes, every goal we concede is psychologically hard for us. After all, we then fail to achieve the objective of playing “to nil”. But we will try. Today, with such a score, we can say that we relaxed a bit and because of this, we conceded that goal.
