Ukrainian footballer was injured as a result of Russian shelling

On Sunday, November 17, midfielder of „Victoria“ Maxim Chehlov was injured due to Russian shelling in the city of Sumy. This was reported by the commentator of DIVISPORT during the first league match „Victoria“ — YUKSA, which took place today (5:1).

„Recently there was a strike by a ballistic missile on the city of Sumy, then 12 people died, two of them were children. The strike hit densely populated urban development, and apartment buildings were damaged. I say this because midfielder of „Victoria“ Maxim Chehlov is in the lineup today, but it is unknown whether he will be able to participate in the game, precisely because of this missile strike on the city of Sumy. He was near the site, the epicenter of the strike, and sustained a leg injury. Therefore, he cannot play fully from the first minutes for his team,“ said the commentator.
