As a result of the European cup matches this week, Ukraine has not changed its position in the UEFA coefficient table.
Recall that last Wednesday, Donetsk's "Shakhtar" lost in the group stage of the Champions League to the Dutch PSV (2:3), and the next day, Kyiv's "Dynamo" suffered a defeat against the Czech "Victoria" (1:2) in the Europa League.
As a result, Ukraine remains in 21st place in the UEFA coefficient table, but Sweden, which currently has three teams competing in European competitions and is currently in 22nd place, is getting closer.
The key position in this part of the table is the 15th line: countries occupying positions from 1st to 15th inclusive delegate two representatives to the Champions League, not one.
Note that the final UEFA coefficient table for this season will determine the representation of countries in European cups for the 2026/27 season. In the 2025/26 season, Ukraine will be represented in the Champions League by one team for the first time in many years.
