Yaremchuk started the match on the bench but came on as a substitute in the second half at the 77th minute. However, after just 8 minutes, the Ukrainian suffered an unfortunate injury in a clash with an opponent—his nose was broken.

Despite receiving medical attention, Yaremchuk could not continue the match, and the head coach of Olympiacos had to make another substitution in the 85th minute.
