The head coach of Poltava’s Vorskla, Yuriy Maximov, commented on his team’s defeat to Ingulec from Petrove (0:3) in today’s match of the 15th round of the Ukrainian championship.
“A disastrous game. You can lose to Dynamo or Shakhtar, but this does not deserve anything. The first minute – a goal, the seventh – another one, and the game was over. In the second half, we played differently. If we had scored that penalty, I think we wouldn’t have lost.
As a result, we lost 0:3 to a team at the bottom of the league table, which hasn’t won a single match in this championship yet. But Ingulec deserved this result. They had more desire, which is why they won.
We will draw conclusions and make some decisions because it cannot continue like this,” Maximov said at the post-match press conference.
