The jury determined the number of candidates for the title of the best in each age category up to three. Six laureates will be invited to visit the House of Football to participate in the ceremonies.
Almost every age group features players from the Dynamo system.
In the U-14 category, attacking player Zakhar Osymukhin is represented. I think his chances are good.
Last season, Zakhar performed very well in the Youth Football League final. Fast, technical, he wins one-on-one duels. A late developer. Lacks physical qualities, but this will all come with age.
In the U-15 category, there are two forwards represented among attacking players — Volodymyr Kvitviniia and Daniil Yurchenko. Both have already been called up to the Ukraine national team of this age.
Kvitviniia is a native of Rivne region. He was in the Munkach system. He transferred to Dynamo in the summer of 2024. He has good physical attributes. A power forward.
Yurchenko also plays as a forward. A player of a different style. But he can score. In the current season, he was called up to the Ukraine national team of his age.
In the U-16 category, attacking player Ivan Andreiko is represented. He has been playing for the Dynamo youth team since the beginning of the season.
Andreiko is one of the main talents in the system of the capital club. Fast, dynamic, easily wins one-on-one duels, creates chances. A very intelligent player, who is not inferior to Viktor Tsyhankov in potential. Among Ivan's competitors are Artem Zubrii and Mukhamed Dzhurabaev from Shakhtar and Rukh, respectively. It will be very interesting to see who will receive the award.
The U-19 category is represented by two Dynamo players — midfielder Pavlo Liusin and defender Demian Tretiak.
Liusin has been playing for the youth team since last season. Captain of the Ukraine national team of his age. A very intelligent player in midfield. Pavlo has a very subtle understanding of football, passing, technique. He has physically matured. I think that in a year or two, he will be knocking on the door of the first team.
Tretiak is the only player from the Dynamo system nominated in the defensive category. A graduate of Dnipro football. After the war, he ended up in Dynamo (Zagreb). He had chances to move to Bayern. In the summer of 2023, he returned to Ukraine and signed a contract with Kyiv Dynamo.
A key player for the Ukraine national team born in 2007. Participated in the youth Euro (U-17) at the end of spring 2024. In the national team, he is a main player for his age. There were talks about interest in him from Manchester United. This was even reported by the British tabloid The Sun.
At the end of last season, Tretiak signed a new contract with Dynamo. At the end of the UYFL First League final match against Nyva Vinnytsia, Tretiak sustained a serious injury, which dashed his chances of making it into Dynamo's youth team. The Dynamo U-19 team began preparations without him. Tretiak decided not to sit on the bench and went out on loan for six months for playing practice at Zorya. He is recovering from his injuries and regaining his lost condition. The boy definitely has character. It is precisely the volitional qualities that turn boys into men. By winter, he will have chances to secure a place in Dynamo's youth team.
No Dynamo players are represented in the U-17 category and among the coaches. The absence of mentors from the Dynamo Academy is not a very positive signal. It is the coaches who develop football players.
Forecast.
The Golden Balls of the Youth Football League will be awarded to Bohdan Redushko, Ivan Andreiko, Demian Tretiak, and Volodymyr Kvitviniia.
