The only goal of the match was scored at the beginning of the second half when Chris Wood converted a penalty. This goal helped the 32-year-old forward write his name into the club\'s history.

Wood is currently tied for first place in the Premier League's all-time scoring list for the club. The New Zealand international has 24 goals in the league, the same as Bryan Roy, who played for Nottingham from 1994 to 1997.
