Former Georgia national team forward Shota Arveladze was among the protesters in Tbilisi last night, reports Georgian Footy.
“After what happened last night, I just couldn't sit back calmly and not join our people to express my protest,” Arveladze explained his position.
Protests in Georgia began immediately after the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the cessation of the course for EU membership in 2028 on November 28. As of now, protests continue, and attempts by security forces to disperse the demonstrators lead to nothing.
