The head coach of "Koloss", Oleksandr Pozdiev, commented on the draw with "Dynamo" (1:1) in the match of the 15th round of the Ukrainian championship on UPL TV.
Oleksandr Pozdiev— Is a draw with "Dynamo" more than an acceptable result for you?
— Why? We were aiming for victory, just not everything worked out. But when it became difficult for us, we endured, and that is a very positive sign. Of course, gaining points is good, especially against "Dynamo", the flagship of Ukrainian football. But we want to win.
— Did conceding the goal throw the team off balance?
— That’s part of the game. Well, damn, if we are going to be thrown off after conceding a goal, it’s very hard to count on anything. Of course, a goal in the fifth minute is unpleasant. But we didn’t let it dishearten us and tried to play.
— Did the team feel that there were gaps in "Dynamo's" defense?
— It’s important to understand that there are no leaders, there are opponents. You need to demonstrate your best qualities and not give up in the fight. And the result can be anything.
— In the second half, did the team maintain the result?
— We didn’t maintain anything, the opponent just forced us to sit back. And it was hard for us — constantly at a high pulse. We have things to improve.
