— Sasha, you don’t often see your team’s hard-fought victories this season…

— Yeah. More often the opposite happens.

— The first half was very difficult for your team. Why did it happen?

— We were a bit confused about how to play. During the break, the coaching staff restructured our game, and it went much better afterwards. We tried to attack in the first half too. There wasn’t a total dominance from Karpaty in the first half of the match. We also had moments, and I, in particular. We managed to break the pressure of Karpaty and closed down the guests.

— In the second half, the game became more open. Did you get another assist?

— Yes. Michin executed everything excellently.

— You don’t often see a central midfielder score twice in a match…

— He trains well, I learn a lot from him. Petar scored two goals and Zorya won.

— London’s Arsenal plays best at opponents’ goals from set pieces (speaking of European tournaments). In Ukraine, there is an opinion that Zorya is the most dangerous team regarding set pieces at the opponent's goal. Do you agree with such a statement?

— I can't say that. We watch Arsenal's game, their interactions during corners and free kicks. We don't score so much from set pieces yet; we would like to score more often.

— Today your center forward, Philipp Budkovsky, didn’t score…

— Nothing serious. Our captain scored a week ago in Zhytomyr. Today, Philipp was very useful; he participated in all our attacks. Budkovsky is the leader of Zorya.

— If we compare the quality of Zorya's game against Karpaty and in the match against Polissya. Where did the Luhansk team play better?

— In both matches, Zorya was impressive in the second halves.
