The initiative from the very first minutes was seized by Ruslan Rotan's charges, who, through their captain Kyrylo Kovalyets, tested the reaction of Georgiy Bushchan right at the start of the match, but the “Dynamo” goalkeeper played confidently and parried the opponent's long-range shot.
It seemed that such an active start from the hosts would force the “white-blues” to quickly “switch” to the game, but Alexander Shovkovskiy's team continued to play defensively, counting on counterattacks and the speed of Vanat. It was Vladyslav who had a chance to open the scoring in the 16th minute, but he shot very inaccurately from a sharp angle from just a few meters. Perhaps this was the only dangerous moment for the Kyiv team in the first half.
Meanwhile, “Alexandria” continued to create half-chances near Bushchan's goal, but the “Dynamo” goalkeeper demonstrated excellent play again, confidently playing in each episode. Georgiy can be named the best player for the “white-blues” in the first half.
In the 37th minute of the match, Brzhko had a good opportunity to score, but his free kick from about 20 meters was distinctly unsuccessful — the ball flew significantly over the goal. In principle, all interesting events of the first half of the confrontation ended here.

And here, the goalkeeper of “Alexandria”, Georgiy Ermakov, had to save his team from conceding a goal several times. First, the goalkeeper reacted to a shot from Vitaliy Bulyalskiy from the edge of the penalty area, deflecting the ball for a corner. A few minutes later, Ermakov performed a brilliant save, pulling the ball almost out of the corner of the goal after Voloshin's shot!
In the closing minutes of the game, both teams exchanged a few more dangerous attacks, but ultimately the fans did not see any goals in this highly anticipated confrontation. A scoreless draw — 0:0.
Let us remind you that Dynamo will play its next match in the UPL also against “Alexandria”, but at home — in Kyiv. This will be a match in the framework of the 16th round of the Ukrainian championship, which will take place on Sunday, December 8. The match will start at 18:00.
