Vitaliy Kvaratsyany: “Mykhavko needs time, he is only 19 years old. I believe he will grow into a good football player”

The legendary Ukrainian coach Vitaliy Kvaratsyany shared his thoughts on the disappointing results of “Dynamo” in the Europa League this season.

“I do not see how ‘Dynamo’ could gain points in the match against ‘Real Sociedad’. It’s such a team… A lot will depend on whether the Spaniards will play with their main squad. If so, it will be very difficult, but if they come out with a semi-reserve team, there is a chance.

Why does ‘Dynamo’ have such a terrible result in the Europa League? That’s the current level. There is absolutely no intensity, and when the Kyiv team faces intense football, they don’t know what to do. It’s a vicious circle. Also, ‘Dynamo’ has a very weak defense, which makes it hard to play football. In midfield and attack, they are more or less okay, but in defense, it’s a disaster. Mykhavko needs time; he is only 19 years old, although the material is very good. I believe he will grow into a good football player.

Today I do not see a leader in ‘Dynamo’. Previously, the leader was Yarmolenko, but he is no longer there,” said Kvaratsyany.
