Former midfielder of Kyiv Dynamo Vasyl Kardash shared his expectations from the match of the "white-blues" in the Europa League against Real Sociedad.
“In the previous round of the Europa League, the ice finally broke, the Dynamo players scored their first goal, and I hope that now they will not return from Spain with empty luggage. I think that the status of hosts for 'Real Sociedad', whose leaders play for the Spanish national team, will become an additional incentive for the Kyiv team to jump higher than their heads.
Although for objective reasons, the reality is that the level of Ukrainian football is declining, and we can only dream of successes on the international stage. I believe that this is temporary. Still, Dynamo has enough ambitious players who are eager to break the streak of failures, pride will play a role, and they will make the Spanish team reckon with them,” Kardash said.
