The goalkeeper of Kyiv’s "Dynamo" Georgiy Bushchan commented on his team's victory over Rivne’s "Veres" (1:0) in yesterday’s match of the 17th round of the Ukrainian championship.
— Kyiv’s "Dynamo" is always expected to achieve good results, — noted the goalkeeper. — What happens in our championship does not happen in Europe. That means this is the level we are at now.
— You lost 0:3 in San Sebastian and they pretty much dominated you there. Is there such a big difference in class between the two teams?
— In Europe, we are immediately punished for any small mistake. I am sure that no team in the world, having such logistics, would manage to win every match.
— You have no recovery time?
— There is none at all. As an example, I will tell you our schedule. We play in Europe on Thursday, on Friday morning we fly to Poland, in the evening we take a train. We arrive in Kyiv on Saturday afternoon and immediately go to the training base. There is a training session, a short recovery. On Sunday — a match of the Ukrainian championship. And on Monday morning, we are again heading to Poland for another match. I want to thank our soldiers from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who give us the opportunity to play.
— Your team is still young, and the guys can still recover...
— What young team — the average age is 25 years. There are both experienced guys and younger ones. It is all very complicated.
