Ukrainian coach Viktor Skripnik is being courted by Polish club «Śląsk» and Cypriot club «Apollon».
We remind you that the 55-year-old specialist started his coaching career at Bremen’s «Werder», where he progressed from a youth team assistant coach to head coach of the first team. Skripnik has also managed Latvian club «Riga», and in Ukraine coached «Zarya» (2019−2022), «Vorskla» (2022−2023), and «Metalist 1925» (2023−2024). The coach has been without a team since July this year.
«Śląsk» is currently at the bottom of the Polish league table after 18 rounds and appears to be searching for someone who can save the club from relegation to the lower division. Meanwhile, «Apollon» is faring better in the Cyprus championship: the team currently occupies 7th place in the league table (a total of 14 teams are participating in the tournament).
