Despite the fact that there is still no final verdict on the doping test for meldonium of the Ukrainian midfielder of London Chelsea Mykhailo Mudrik, the footballer has already started preparing for a possible appeal against his disqualification.

According to The Telegraph, the Ukrainian hired the law firm "Morgan Sports Law", which represented the interests of former Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba in a similar situation earlier this year.

Recall that the French footballer failed a doping test for testosterone last year and in February of this year was punished with a 4-year disqualification, which is the standard penalty for violating anti-doping rules (this is the type of "ban" that Mudrik will almost certainly receive if his B sample also tests positive).

After this, the firm "Morgan Sports Law" filed an appeal on behalf of Pogba to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne and ultimately achieved a reduction of its client's disqualification to 18 months. As a result, already in March of next year, Pogba will be able to resume his professional football career.
