A Ukrainian football referee has been killed in the war against Russia

A 30-year-old Ukrainian football referee Andriy Shchepotyev has been killed in the war against Russia, reports UAF on its telegram channel.

A resident of Kharkiv, he worked at youth football matches and amateur league encounters, was a listener at the National School of Referees (2020), and worked as a coach for the local “Arsenal”.

Andriy Shchepotyev joined the military after the start of the full-scale invasion. He was killed while carrying out a combat mission in Kharkiv region.
