The former chief administrator of Shakhtar, Damir Zinnatullin, is now engaged in football activities in the occupied "ro**iya" territory of Ukraine.
The official has been elected as the vice-president of the Football Union of the so-called "DPR". This is reported on the official website of this "organization".
We recall that in Ukraine, Zinnatullin gained scandalous notoriety in 2014, when just before the Super Cup match between Kyiv's Dynamo and Donetsk's Shakhtar, he held a meeting in one of Kyiv's restaurants with the then head of the FFU Referees Committee, Vasyl Melnychuk. The fact of such a meeting was recorded by ex-FIFA referee Serhiy Shebek.
Zinnatullin left Shakhtar in 2017.
