«Inter» is considering offering its coach Simone Inzaghi an extension of his contract until 2028 after a "perfect" year, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inzaghi's current deal is set until June 2026, but the development of the team and impressive results throughout 2024 have convinced the club's directors and president Beppe Marotta to prepare a new offer for the coach. Last summer, Inzaghi became the highest-paid coach in Serie A with a salary of 6.5 million euros per season.
The «Nerazzurri» not only won their 20th title in Serie A this year but also have a fantastic average (2.37 points per game). If «Inter» wins the next two matches against «Como» and «Cagliari», they will accumulate 89 points in 2024, which is two more than in 2023.
