Chelsea coach Enzo Mareska shared his thoughts on the 0-0 draw against Everton in the 17th round of the English Championship.
"I was very concerned about this match. It’s not an easy match, not an easy stadium, not an easy team. In terms of defensive play, they operate at the highest level. It’s difficult to create chances against them.
You need to cope with this and learn to play different matches. Long ball throws, second balls, free space, set pieces. In football, not everything depends on how well we play with the ball. It also depends on how well you defend and cope with the things I mentioned.
Today was a completely different match compared to others. It had to be a lesson. It wasn’t easy, but the players showed their unity and did it excellently," quotes Mareska from Evening Standard.
