The owner of Rukh explained that he called not Mudryk, but Lomachenko a "pathetic dude".

The owner and honorary president of Lviv’s Rukh Hryhoriy Kozlovskyi explained why in one of the posts on the social media platform Instagram, which was dedicated to the Ukrainian midfielder of London’s Chelsea Mykhailo Mudryk, he wrote an offensive message: “Seriously, what a pathetic dude he is.”

“I see that my comment on Instagram under an archival video with Mykhailo Mudryk made a fuss on social networks. So I want to provide an explanation regarding this situation.

So, however ironic it may be, my comment did not refer to Mykhailo! Like most social media users, I scroll through the news feed on Instagram or Facebook and sometimes comment on certain posts. This time, I came across a video with UOC MP advocate Vasyl Lomachenko. I was sure that I had left a comment specifically under the video with this lover of Moscow priests. Many decided to catch hype on this topic and without context put this quote in headlines and gain views on it. At the same time, no one was interested in what was meant and what happened at all.

I couldn’t help but react to this situation, so today I called Mykhailo, talked to him, and explained what happened. I emphasize that my attitude towards Mudryk has always been positive: I respect him as a person and a footballer. He is going through a tough period in his career, so I want to support him and wish him a speedy return to the field. Mykhailo’s talent is undeniable, and he is an important player not only for his club but also for the national team.

P.S.: Be careful when scrolling through social media and leaving comments under posts.

P.P.S.: And Lomachenko is indeed pathetic, and these words about him are fair,” Kozlovskyi wrote on his Facebook page.
