After a 3-year hiatus, the title of the “dryest” goalkeeper of the year in the Ukrainian championship has been awarded for the second time to Dynamo goalkeeper Georgiy Bushchan.
In 2024, he played 14 games without conceding (one less than in 2021) — 7 in the spring part of the 2023/24 season and in the fall of the 2024/25 season. The goalkeeper from Kyiv surpassed Dmitriy Ledviy from Rukh by one clean sheet and two clean sheets ahead of Dmytriy Riznyk from Shakhtar. Georgiy Ermakov of Alexandria, who showed the best result in the fall part of the current championship, shared the 4th position with Oleksandr Kemkin, who represented Minai and Karpaty last year.
By the way, over the last 10 years, besides Georgiy Bushchan, two other Dynamo goalkeepers have been awarded in this nomination. These are Oleksandr Shovkovskiy in 2015 (15 clean sheets) and Denys Boyko in 2018 (19).
