Former midfielder of Kiev’s «Dynamo» Carlos de Pena, who recently left Brazilian «Bahia» due to the end of his contract and became a free agent, may continue his career in Chile.
As reported by Encancha, the 32-year-old Uruguayan is close to signing a contract with Chilean «Colo-Colo». The former Dynamo player himself stated that he is interested in moving to this club.
«I must admit, this option attracted my attention. I have family in Chile, and I know this country very well, and I like it a lot. Moreover, „Colo Colo“ is a major club that has participated in the Copa Libertadores and then moved to the Sudamericana (the second-tier club tournament in South America after the Copa Libertadores, — ed. note). So it is a good option in every sense,» the publication cites the words of Carlos de Pena.
