The director of the Lviv «Karpaty» development, Andriy Tlumak, shared his thoughts on the changes of recent years in the Ukrainian championship.
«I wouldn’t say that we currently have a weak championship. It’s just that there are more equal teams now. This is because the sums that clubs spend have changed.
„Shakhtar“ and „Dynamo“ also spend less than they used to, and that’s why „Polissia“ and other teams have caught up, which can now create competition for them. That’s why there are more equal teams. And among these teams, „Karpaty“ have not been lost. Give us at least a couple of years, and I think we will succeed,» said Tlumak during yesterday's press conference.
