As it became known to Sport.ua, an official letter regarding the FC "Bukovyna" was received from the Committee on Stadium Issues and Security of Competitions of the UAF, whose representatives inspected the stadium in Chernivtsi a few weeks ago, where the quarter-finals of the Ukrainian football Cup is scheduled to take place on April 2, 2025.
“There are quite significant remarks, but there is still time to eliminate all shortcomings by March 1, 2025, when the commission from Kyiv will visit again,” commented the situation FC "Bukovyna" director Ihor Nabolotnyi. “In particular, it is necessary to equip journalists’ areas with everything necessary so that they have the opportunity to promptly provide information; we will also ensure that the referees' room is more comfortable.”
By the way, a VAR system is not mandatory for the cup quarter-final matches, so for now, we will do without installing additional equipment. However, of course, if "Bukovyna" aims to participate in the UPL, then efforts must be made to ensure that the stadium in Chernivtsi meets current requirements as soon as possible. There is no time to waste.
Currently, we have begun to concretize the work plan for the next two months at the stadium and hope that on April 2 we will be able to host the cup quarter-final in Chernivtsi: "Bukovyna" - "Viktoriya," Nabolotnyi reported.
