«If I were to assess the mentality, Cherkasy is close to me. It’s 200 kilometers straight to the place where I was born. Even the atmosphere in the city is similar.
For example, Lviv is strict. It’s my first love. People here work very well, but they are hard to accept. But if they accept you, they are ready to do everything for you. Odesa is Odesa. There, they smile while they kill. It’s very easy to communicate with Odesans. I have always been impressed by the freedom of speech and tranquility in this city.
How much do I feel like a Ukrainian? About 90 percent. I find it easy to connect with Ukrainians. Perhaps it’s my inner state. I remember the first time I arrived in Lviv in 2016.
