About Shaparenko
— Shaparenko needs to leave the Ukrainian Premier League. Listen, he is a very talented player. When he trains with top players in a top club, he will progress.
If he stays here for another year or two, he will not leave, like Husyev and Buialskyi.
Why didn’t Husyev and Buialskyi leave? Because the philosophy of Kyiv’s «Dynamo» is that they want to keep their leaders as personalities for future generations. I spoke with Ihor Mykhailovych, and he said: «I wanted them to be an example». Husyev didn’t become a coach just like that. I think Buialskyi will be one too.

If we talk about Shaparenko, it's quite difficult for a playmaker from Kyiv’s «Dynamo» to move to a top team. Why? The philosophy of the game is fast-paced, with pressing and high lines. They use more wing players there.
I wouldn’t recommend him going to England. He should go to Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and Spain. Not to France, it’s quite tough there; he would get injured constantly. I would recommend Italy; he would feel comfortable there. If Malinovskyi felt quite comfortable playing for «Atalanta», then Shaparenko could also play in any Italian team.
I have seen a lot of criticism for him. Listen, do you think it's easy after an injury? Did you try to support a person who had a serious injury, who underwent surgeries and rehabilitation? No one saw this. It's quite difficult. We all see one side of the coin, and we don’t see the other.
About Oleksandr Shovkovskyi's work at the head of «Dynamo»
— I can compliment Sasha Shovkovskyi. He speaks little and works seriously. Many were skeptical about what kind of coach he would be. Listen, there are no scandals under him, no conflicts. He squeezes the maximum out of the minimum, and the club owners understand this.
He gives everyone a chance to express themselves. He is not to blame that Guerrero doesn’t play as he did in «Zorya». Why? Because everyone is used to serving Vanat, not Guerrero. He has been at «Dynamo» for a long time. Guerrero needs to adapt to the «Dynamo» playing system. It’s not that simple; it takes time.
Why was Bragary a leader at «Chornomorets», but plays little at «Dynamo»? The system as well. The only exception, most likely, is Pihalyonok. He doesn’t care where or what team to play for. He assists, scores. I don’t know why he gets injured often. I think «Dynamo» gives great loads.
Recalling the matches of «Shakhtar» in the main stage of the Champions League, Hrozny suggested that the «miners» could have had more points than they actually earned.
About the prospects of «Dynamo» in the Europa League match against «Galatasaray»
— «Dynamo» will likely hold training camps in Turkey before the match against «Galatasaray» (on January 5, the «white-blues» will head for training camps in Turkey — ed. note). They will prepare calmly in Turkey. They do not have any tension now. Their main goal is to become champions of Ukraine. There is the goal — to play in the Champions League, as this will bring in 40?50 million euros.
I think that «Dynamo» will probably beat «Galatasaray». They will be fresh, as they do not play in the league in January. And «Galatasaray» plays, and they will have problems.
