If it weren’t for periodic health issues, the first part of the 2024/2025 club season in terms of playing practice at the highest level for the defender of the Ukrainian national team and English club Everton, Vitalii Mykolenko, could be called successful.
At the beginning of the English championship, the Toffees looked, to put it mildly, not very good (four consecutive starting losses), but Mykolenko’s involvement in this trouble was no more than any other player on Sean Dyche’s team.
Out of 21 matches played by Everton, Mykolenko participated in 17, and in 16 of them, he played from the start until the final whistle. This is a clear illustration of the trust placed in Vitalii by the coaching staff of the Liverpool team, which, barring any unforeseen circumstances, should remain in the second part of the season.
