Vinicius Junior is suspended for two matches in the Spanish championship

Real Madrid midfielder Vinicius Junior has been suspended for two matches in the Spanish championship due to a red card, which the Brazilian received in the postponed match of the 12th round of La Liga against Valencia.

According to Marca, despite this suspension, Vinicius will be able to play in the Spanish Super Cup. In La Liga, the midfielder will miss the games against Las Palmas (January 19) and Rayo Vallecano (January 25).

As for the meeting in the Spanish Super Cup against Mallorca, it will take place on Thursday, January 9, in Saudi Arabia in the city of Jeddah. The game starts at 21:00 Kyiv time.

It’s worth noting that Vinicius received a straight red card for pushing Valencia goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski in the neck during the 79th minute of the last match.
